Is Yang Jung-won Dating Anyone in 2026?
As of October 10, 2026, no reliable confirmation of a current romantic partner has been identified in the sources reviewed for this article. Jungwon’s most clearly documented public statement on the subject came in December 2024, when he denied dating anyone during a livestream on Weverse.
The statement followed rumors linking him to Winter, a member of the South Korean girl group aespa. Online discussions quickly spread across social media, attracting attention from fans and entertainment news outlets.
However, a rumor becoming popular does not make it true. The allegations were denied by BELIFT LAB, Jungwon’s agency, and SM Entertainment, Winter’s agency. Jungwon subsequently addressed the situation himself.
It is also important to distinguish between a historical statement and a current relationship update. Jungwon’s December 2024 denial establishes what he said at that time. It does not independently prove his relationship status for every subsequent year.
Therefore, the most accurate answer is that Jungwon publicly denied dating anyone in December 2024, and no newer confirmed relationship was identified in the sources reviewed for this article. Claims that he currently has a girlfriend should not be treated as facts without credible supporting evidence.
Is Jungwon Single?
Jungwon’s public denial indicated that he was not dating anyone when he addressed the rumors in December 2024. However, there is no reason to assume that an individual’s private circumstances can never change.
Unless Jungwon or an authorized representative provides a more recent statement, describing him as definitively single in October 2026 would go beyond the available evidence.
For readers searching for a straightforward answer, there is no publicly confirmed girlfriend identified in the sources reviewed here.
Jungwon and Winter Dating Rumors Explained
The dating rumors involving Jungwon and Winter emerged on December 11, 2024. Online posts circulated photographs and allegations suggesting that the two K-pop performers had visited the same location in Seoul.
Some users interpreted the material as evidence of a romantic connection. Others shared the claims without independently verifying the identities of the individuals shown or the circumstances surrounding the images.
The story spread rapidly because both performers belong to internationally recognized K-pop groups. Jungwon leads ENHYPEN, while Winter is a member of aespa. Interest in their personal lives helped the speculation attract further attention.
Nevertheless, the online material did not establish that the two singers were dating.
What Did BELIFT LAB Say?
BELIFT LAB, the agency responsible for ENHYPEN, rejected the allegations involving Jungwon.
The agency also indicated that it would respond firmly to malicious rumors and conduct that infringed on its artists’ privacy. Its response was significant because it directly addressed the claims rather than leaving the public to interpret anonymous posts.
An agency denial does not disclose every detail of an artist’s personal life, but it is an attributable statement that should be distinguished from unverified speculation.
How Did SM Entertainment Respond?
SM Entertainment, which manages aespa, also rejected the dating claims involving Winter.
The company’s response described the allegations as groundless and indicated that it would consider legal action concerning the circulation of the material.
With both agencies denying the rumors, there was no reliable basis for presenting the alleged relationship as confirmed news.
What Did Jungwon Say About the Rumors?
On December 12, 2024, Jungwon addressed the controversy during a livestream on Weverse.
He told viewers that he was not dating anyone. His response gave fans a direct statement from the person at the center of the speculation.
The livestream also addressed separate allegations concerning smoking. Although both topics received attention in entertainment coverage, they should not be confused with one another. The dating question concerns whether a relationship was confirmed, while the other allegations were a separate issue.
Jungwon’s statement remains an important reference point for understanding the controversy. However, articles discussing the incident should retain the original date so readers do not mistake a 2024 event for a new development in 2026.
Jungwon and Winter Rumors: Timeline
The following timeline separates the original allegations from the responses that followed.
| Date | Event |
| December 11, 2024 | Online claims linking Jungwon and Winter began circulating widely. |
| December 11, 2024 | BELIFT LAB denied the dating allegations involving Jungwon. |
| December 11, 2024 | SM Entertainment rejected the claims involving Winter. |
| December 12, 2024 | Jungwon addressed the rumors on Weverse and said he was not dating anyone. |
| October 10, 2026 | No newer confirmed relationship was identified in the sources reviewed for this article. |
This sequence is important because celebrity rumors frequently resurface months or years after the original event. A shared photograph, a fan theory, or a repeated headline should not be confused with a new confirmation.

Early Life and Education
Jungwon was born in South Korea and developed an interest in performance before his professional debut. He subsequently trained as an aspiring idol and participated in I-LAND in 2020.
Publicly available information about his private schooling and early family life is more limited than information about his career. For that reason, unsupported personal details should not be added simply to make a biography appear more comprehensive.
His participation in I-LAND became the defining transition between his training years and his professional life as a recording artist.
Career Journey
2020: Participation in I-LAND
Jungwon appeared on the competition program I-LAND, which followed performers as they competed for places in a new K-pop group. His performances and progress helped introduce him to a broader audience.

2024: A major chart achievement
ENHYPEN’s album ROMANCE: UNTOLD debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The milestone demonstrated the group’s commercial reach, although a chart position alone does not reveal how much any individual member earned.
That December, Jungwon also became the subject of widespread relationship speculation involving Winter. His public response and the agencies’ denials became the principal documented developments in the story.
2025–2026: Continued professional activity
Jungwon’s public career remains associated with ENHYPEN’s music, performances, and fan engagement. Career news should be evaluated separately from unverified claims about his romantic life.

Yang Jung-won’s Net Worth and Income Sources
Yang Jung-won’s exact net worth has not been reliably established by the sources reviewed for this article. Figures circulated on celebrity websites should therefore be treated as estimates rather than verified financial information.
Net worth represents the value of a person’s assets minus their liabilities. It is different from annual income, the total revenue of a music group, or the amount generated by album sales.
As a professional K-pop performer, Jungwon may receive compensation through several parts of the entertainment business. However, the details of his contract, personal investments, assets, liabilities, and individual earnings are not publicly established here.
Music and Album Revenue
ENHYPEN earns revenue through commercial music activities. Physical album sales, digital distribution, and related licensing can contribute to an artist’s overall business.
However, gross sales are not equivalent to personal income. Production expenses, distribution arrangements, management costs, and contractual allocations affect how revenue is divided.
Concerts and Live Performances
Concerts and tours can be important revenue sources for established K-pop groups. Ticket sales, VIP packages, and related activities may contribute to the overall commercial value of a tour.
Nevertheless, a tour’s gross revenue cannot be used to calculate Jungwon’s individual earnings without information about costs and contractual payments.
Endorsements and Merchandise
Artists can earn money through advertising, brand partnerships, and promotional campaigns when they participate in such arrangements. Official merchandise may also generate revenue for the businesses involved.
Specific personal endorsement fees or merchandise earnings should not be assigned to Jungwon without credible documentation.
Royalties, Social Media, and Investments
Royalties depend on songwriting credits, ownership rights, and recording agreements. Social media can also support commercial partnerships, but audience size alone does not establish a person’s earnings.
Likewise, no verified valuation of Jungwon’s personal property, investments, or other assets has been established in the sources reviewed.
A responsible financial profile should acknowledge these potential income channels without inventing dollar figures.

Personal Life and Privacy
Jungwon’s public identity is closely connected to his work with ENHYPEN. His career gives fans opportunities to learn about his music, performances, and public activities, but it does not provide complete access to his private life.
The Winter controversy illustrates the difference between public interest and evidence. Photographs, anonymous claims, and fan interpretations may generate discussion, but they do not automatically establish a relationship.
The most reliable way to verify a celebrity relationship is through a direct statement, an attributable agency announcement, or credible reporting supported by verifiable evidence.
Until such evidence exists, naming someone as Jungwon’s girlfriend would be speculative. Respecting that distinction protects both the accuracy of the article and the privacy of the people involved.
